Padma Sri awards only now for deserving common people

The number of Padma Shri award nominations received in India from general public: Year 2010: 1,313 2014: 2,200 2016: 18,768 2017: 35,595 2018: 49,992 !!
A tea seller from Odisha, named Devarapalli Prakash Rao, got Padma Shri for his philanthropic activity of providing free education to 80 plus slum kids using money from his meagre earning. Deserving common men are being honored beating lobbyists - this has happened under Narendra Modi government.
